"I learned from the ground up, I googled everything, I watched youtube obsessively, I was a PA for almost a year professionally just to figure it all out, you just have to do it. You’re gonna mess up, it’s not gonna be perfect, but you have to get that first one out there just to understand what you’re dealing with."

From Robin:

My name is Robin Rose Singer.  I am a professional actor, writer, director, and producer.  I've been living in New York since the ripe old age of 17, when I moved here to study at NYU, dye my hair pink, and sing Guns N' Roses covers, before "settling down" and becoming a professional artist.

Nowadays, I am a proud member of SAG-AFTRA, a produced screenwriter and TV series creator, and the owner of Black 26 Pictures, a company I founded to make stand-out narrative and documentary film work.

I premiered my first film, "Aphasia," at the 2015 Tribeca Film Festival.  My feature script, The Lions of Mesopotamia, was names Top 50 for the Academy Nicholl Fellowship in 2016 and was selected as one of eight projects to be workshopped at NY Stage and Film the same year under the mentorship of writers, producers, and directors like John Patrick Shanley.  My TV comedy pilot ADULT BEHAVIOR was one of two pilots selected for IFP/MOME's Made in NY: Series Competition and will air this winter.  I never take for granted that I'm able to make my living as an artist, while shaping the stories we tell on the big/small/smaller screen.
