“One big thing is being too specific on what you are looking for, especially if it is a student film or something unpaid. I encourage people to broaden their horizons. And that is something I have done. I run a 501C theatre company with my mom in central Jersey. We are big on multicultural casting, and we are big on opening up classical roles and seeing people for it that might not being seen by other companies or seen in the past for it.
