“It’s just about people, at the end of the day, and something I’m really proud of with this project is that, it’s not like hitting you over the head with like being an issue movie or like I have this agenda or whatever, it’s just about people, living, and I just want more movies like that.”

Haroula Rose is a filmmaker and singer-songwriter from Chicago, now based mostly in LA. She is currently on tour with her feature film ONCE UPON A RIVER to festivals throughout the US and Europe. She is also working on a documentary project and new songs. Rose's film work has been supported by a Fulbright fellowship in Spain, Warner Bros Directing Workshop, Nantucket Screenwriters Colony, Tribeca All Access and WarnerMedia. She has released albums with Thirty Tigers and her own label, Little Bliss.
